IF I AM A NEW CLIENT, WHAT DO I NEED TO DO?

If you would like to speak with me first, send me a note on the Contact Form and let me know a good time to call you.

If you’d like to go ahead and schedule an intake, go to bottom of the page and click on the Request Appointment link.

DO YOU TAKE MY INSURANCE?

I am considered out-of-network, which means I can provide you with a receipt (via email or paper) after you have paid me, so that you can submit that to your insurance company for partial reimbursement. Each insurance plan is different in regards to how much they will reimburse, so I always recommend you call the # on the back of your insurance card and ask them how much they would reimburse you for DBT therapy.

DO I HAVE TO DO GROUP THERAPY?

No, there are different ways to get DBT treatment. You can do individual DBT, with no group. You can do group DBT and see someone else for your individual therapy. You can do both individual and group DBT with me.

HOW MANY PEOPLE ARE IN YOUR DBT GROUPS?

I typically have 5-8 people in each group . Each group is a weekly group, so we meet every week for one and a half hours.

HOW MUCH DO YOU CHARGE?

I charge $175 for 55 minute individual therapy sessions. The groups are $75 per group session. I accept cash, check and credit cards payable at beginning of session. I also accept Health Care FSA credit cards.

HOW QUICKLY CAN YOU GET ME IN?

I typically can get new clients in within a few days, although this can vary depending on various factors. During the school year, my afternoon and early evening times can get booked, but I do typically have openings at other times when this occurs.

DO YOU PROVIDE VIRTUAL THERAPY?

I do offer both phone and video counseling.
